Ice Breaker
The Ice Breaker is traditionally the first racing event each year for Minuteman Model Yacht Club. It is an open event to all, but it awards its perpetual trophy to the winner of a designated class of boat.
THE ENDURO
The Enduro is our traditional end of the season regatta. At the end of the day, the skipper on the water with the largest number of laps wins. All classes of boats are welcomed.
The Commodores
The Commodore of a model yacht club is the CEO of the club. He or she is “the face” of the club in all its activities and its many relationships.

Jim and Sue Linville Memorial
Originally called the Susan Linville Memorial Regatta and now named the Jim and Sue Linville Memorial is a popular part of Minuteman tradition.
Old Timers Regatta
The Old Timers Regatta is very popular with our older Club members. It’s great fun and a great tribute to a man who was never too old to play with toy boats.
Star 45
The Star 45 is a 45″ long hard chine hull; semi-scale model of the full-size Olympic Star.
US 1 Meter
The U.S. One Meter Class is a developmental class, which means there are very few design restrictions.
Soling Class
The Soling Class is the largest class affiliated with the American Model Yachting Association (AMYA).
DF95
The DragonFlite 95 is a Restricted One Design boat that is meant to compete within a strict set of rules to ensure a true test of a skipper’s ability to tune their boat and race it well.
