The weather was a little warmer than last weekend, but not much, and there was a little more wind than last weekend, but not much. Given the forecast, 4 skippers showed up to face the Fall weather predictions.
There were three DF95’s and one S1M on the pond. Early on, there was enough breeze to keep the boats moving, but not consistently. With a small one-design fleet and light winds, getting a good start is critical because catching a boat in the lead can be very difficult.
Today, Greg LaPlante was able to nail all of the starts, but one. I managed to spoil his perfect regatta by getting a good start, and one first place. He got the rest.
After race 6, the wind decided it was time to leave and we drifted to shore to call it a day.
